    The painting of Festa di Giglio of East Harlem was done by Donato Celentano, my uncle. He lived in a Brownstone on Pleasant Ave next to 122 Street. His mother , my grandmother lived about 5 Brownstones down from his home. My other uncle Joe Celentano lived about mid-way between 122 and 123. Daniel Celentano was a child prodigy of Thomas Hart Benton at the age of 12. His paintings command a hefty price in today’s art world. I am the proud owner of a charcoal sketch he made of me when I was about 8 years old. My aunt Rose Luviso lived in the same Brownstone as her sister Carmela Filardo, my mother.
